Pi is not just a “mathematical constant whose value is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter in Euclidean space”.
In this case Pi stands for a nickname of Poznia, who could be called friend /drinking companion and merely just a good company :]
Even four months ago I’ve promised a birthday gift to him. The time has come after a quarter.
